    Dear all,

On behalf of the jMRUI Consortium, I am pleased to announce the release of jMRUI 5.2 and the launch of the new jMRUI website.

At the new website http://www.jmrui.eu you will find a blog with news about jMRUI and related topics. Also, you will be able to easily download the software by login an clicking a button. And at the forum you will be able to report bugs and request new features, and to submit all your questions. The user forum is open to all members and we would like to encourage you to participate and help other users by sharing your knowledge and experience through the forum.

To download the new version, log into your account at the new site by using the same username and password you had at the old MRUI Licensees Database. Alternatively, you can use your email address instead of the username. In case you forgot your password, follow the simple instructions on the web page MRUI licensees read this! to restore the access to your account at the new site. Briefly, you will have to enter your email address in the password restore form.

Once you are logged in, go the the Download page (“License & download” in the menu bar, then the “Download” entry) where you will find the distribution files of the Windows and GNU/Linux versions. Feel free to download whatever version you prefer, or, why not? both!

After downloading jMRUI uncompress the zip-file in the directory of your choice and read the “readme.txt” file to learn how to correctly install jMRUI and the “readme_nmrscopeb.txt” for instructions on how to install the spin system simulator plug-in NMRScopeB.

We would also like to invite you to the Philips Healthcare booth at the ISMRM conference in Toronto where we will demonstrate the new jMRUI version as well as a new clinical MRS and MRSI viewer, which should be available soon.

Looking forward to seeing you in Toronto,

    Jana Starčuková
    JMRUI Coordinator
